Several trampolines are not just manufactured for teenagers, as many can also be bought by grown-ups as an aerobic drill in addition as a means for toning and strengthen several muscles all at once. Hence, for that reason a trampoline has oodles to provide year on year for the whole family and it’s of no astonishment that trampolines are such a highly regarded item all through the sunny period.

Generic Viagra: Great for the Wallet

April 11th, 2008

Briefly, impotence (or erectile dysfunction or ED) is the sexual dysfunction in men, which relates to the condition where the male organ fails to achieve and maintain sufficient erection to satisfy his partner.Briefly, impotence (or erectile dysfunction or ED) is the sexual dysfunction in men, which relates to the condition where the male organ fails to achieve and maintain sufficient erection to satisfy his partner.Viagra (sildenafil citrate) came as a welcome relief to the patients suffering from ED.

Before the introduction of Viagra, the impotent men had to undergo painful surgeries to overcome impotemce. Viagra is an FDA approved oral pill for the treatment of ED. Viagra prompted further research in this field and resultantly, two more drugs ? Cialis and Levitra ? got approval in 2003 as prescription drugs for the treatment of erectile dysfunction among men.The only inhibitive factor surrounding Viagra is its exorbitant price. Since the drug is under patent by Pfizer Inc., the bloated price of the drug is understandable. But the market forces have found a way out of this legal quandry.

They have unleashed generic version of Viagra promising equal efficacy at drastically reduced prices.Generic viagra contains sildenafil citrate as its active ingredient. It is available at almost 30% of what Pfizer charges for Viagra. The reduced price is attributable to the fact that not much R&D has been devoted to the development of the drug. Moreover, generic versions are not treated as patentable inventions. So, lesser costs translate into lesser price. The manufacturers also promise the same efficiency levels for the generic versions of the drug named as generic drugs. But there is a major rider to all these benefits. The US FDA has not approved generic Viagra for the treatment of ED for concerns that the strict quality standards have not been maintained in the manufacture of the drug. Therefore, it is not considered legal in the US to deal with generic Viagra. Many sites offer generic Viagra online so that the patients are lured by the convenience, price and privacy and buy generic Viagra. But the patients should always consult their family doctor before resorting to the cheap generic Viagra.

Campsite Meal Planning and Recipe

March 2nd, 2008

Hello Again,

Today we will be talking about meal planning. Meals are one of the most memorable aspects of any camping trip and if one meal is a disaster you will never hear the end of it. I will show you how to avoid spending half the day in the kitchen and still deliver a meal that will knock their socks off. Pre planning and pre prep are a great way to buy more time for doing what you came for “Camping”. Later I will share a recipe that includes a great way to pre cook pasta. There are two methods for meal planning, the ration method and the recipe method. Today I will focus on the recipe method. I will go into depth on the ration method in a later issue. A small group in a camp setting will find the recipe method much easier to implement. If you have a very large group or need to be mobile the ration method is desirable.

An efficient and fun way to plan your menu is to gather up all your favorite recipes and make a daily menu centered around your planned activities not worrying about space or supply restrictions. For example if you are planning some hiking, sandwiches will do the trick. If you plan to stay close to the site you can afford some more elaborate meals. I try to plan for a variety of situations. This allows you to be fixable once you hit the site. You don’t have to follow your menu to the tee. Mix it up, be spontaneous and have fun.

Once you have your menu, figure out what supplies you will need, then depending on your space and weight requirements adjust your menu and/or your equipment accordingly. Otherwise just creating the menu can be a real challenge. Our goal here is to have fun. This method for meal planning is an easy way to figure out what supplies you will need without a lot of size and weight calculations. There are plenty of complicated formulas you can use for meal planning and in some circumstance like backpacking or extended trips these are essential, but for the average campsite certainty not necessary. If you forget or overlook something, most campgrounds either have a store on site or within a short driving distance. You might kick yourself for having to spend twice what something is worth but you won’t starve.

When planning your menu include plenty of fresh water, high-energy snacks and trail foods like fresh fruit, beef jerky and granola. Stay away from things like chips, soda and cookies unless you plan on sitting around the campsite wishing you had a TV to watch. Outdoor activities require a lot of energy and burn a lot of calories. The best way to plan healthy meals is to use the USDA’s Food Guide Pyramid. Keep in mind appetites will be up so plan accordingly. Click on the link above to visit the USDA’s site.

Do as much pre planning and pre prep as possible. (Say that 5 times fast) I use a lot of zip lock bags, cutting up and cooking as much as I can before I get to the site. Use a cooler to keep your perishables like milk, condiments and fresh vegetables. I use powdered milk in all my camp recipes because it is convenient to carry and easy to convert your recipe to fresh milk if you have it. I usually use fresh milk for the first few days then go to the powdered milk after we have run out. At least that is the plan. My daughter loves to drink milk and always throws a fit whenever we run out of fresh. I often find myself reentering society in exchange for a little peace and quiet.

The nice thing about the recipe menu planning method is most home recipes can be converted to outdoor recipes with very little effort. This next recipe is a perfect example of something that is equally delicious at home or out on the campsite. Note the pre planning tips that make this a quick fix without compromising on taste.

Campsite Pasta Italiano

7 to 8 oz pasta
4 Tbsp olive or peanut oil
1 lb Italian sausage cut into inch pieces
1 28 oz can Italian Style crushed tomatoes (do not substitute with regular crushed tomatoes)
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper
Parmesan cheese

Do Ahead Tip: Cut sausage before hand and store in a zip lock bag

Do Ahead Tip: Cook the pasta at home as directed on package. Drain and rinse with cold water. In a large bowl add pasta and 2 Tbsp oil. Toss until evenly coated, seal in a zip lock bag and store in cooler until needed.

Do Ahead Tip: Plan several pasta dishes and cook all the pasta at once. Store each portion in a separate bag. Use a permanent marker to write the name of the recipe each bag is intended for.

Before you prepare your meal remove the appropriate pasta bag from the cooler and let it reach room temperature.

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a large skillet on medium high. Add sausage and brown evenly until cooked through. Drain grease; add crushed tomatoes and garlic powder. Stirring constantly bring to a boil and reduce heat to medium. Simmer until thickened about 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add pasta. Mix well. If your skillet is too small to add the pasta you can mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. The heat of the sauce will reheat the pasta. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve with parmesan Cheese.

Whala! A simple delicious meal whipped up in a flash. Guaranteed to stick to the ribs after a hard days play. Don’t forget to leave some room for the S’mores.

PaintBall Gun Buying Tips

December 15th, 2007

There are so many selections available when it comes to paintball guns that choosing one can be overwhelming.

The most important thing is to make sure that you have done research on the guns that you are interested in buying. Research them on the Internet and ask the more experienced players for their opinions on the guns in question. Make an initial trip to the store, or webpage, to look over the guns and make a list of the ones that you are interested in purchasing. Then do your research.

You want to make sure that the gun is constructed well. The parts should work, fit right, and be durable. Paintball guns take quite a bit of abuse, so your gun must be durable. Remember that metal is stronger than plastic. Depending on the playing environment that you will use the majority of the time, you may not want a flashy, colorful gun. These will stand out and make you a target. Choose black or dark colors.

The weight of the gun matters. Keep in mind that you will be carrying the gun, and even running with it. If it is too heavy for you, do not buy it. Walk around with the gun for several minutes in the store to get a feel for it if possible.

Is the gun simple to operate? If not, you may not want that gun. You want a gun that is easily maintained and easy to operate. Make sure the gun is upgradeable. You may want to add more features to your gun later.

When a new gun comes on the market, do not rush out to buy it. Give it some time and see what the reviews and opinions from the players who did rush out to buy it are. If you are new to the game, you should rent the gun and other equipment for a while. This will give you the opportunity to see what you like in a gun before you spend your money.

Make sure that the gun has a safety device on it. This protects you, and those around you. Also, check the warranty on the gun. A one-year warranty is typical. Finally, look at the price. There are some expensive guns out there. However, a higher price does not mean higher quality. Just know exactly what you want from a gun, do your research, and then find one that meets your specifications in your price range.

Ski Vacations with Ski Clubs

December 10th, 2007

No matter where you live there is a ski club near you. This is true even if you live in a place that does not ever get snowfall! These clubs regularly get together for trips to various mountains, ski areas and ski resorts. Some are local clubs, meaning that the slopes that they ski on are within driving distance, while others are more national or global, which means that they not only ski locally, if possible, but they also plan ski trips.

Again, members of ski clubs often receive deep discounts on ski vacation packages. Arrangements are usually made through the club, so that everyone is eligible for the discounts. The money that is required from each member for the trip is usually paid to the club and the club passes the funds on to pay for lodging, airfare, meals, lift tickets and other perks that are included in the trip. Because arrangements are being made for a group of people - which is usually fairly large - discounts are given. This benefits all members of the club.

The discounts aren’t the only thing to be excited about. These clubs get together regularly - even if they aren’t getting together to ski. They join together for other activities as well, such as cookouts and fundraisers. Many ski clubs do annual fundraisers to help less fortunate families and children at Christmas time. Others do annual fundraisers to help preserve the environment - which is usually a topic of great importance to skiers who love being out in the wide open spaces and fresh air.

While skiing is what brings these groups together in the first place, it is not necessarily what keeps them together. Their love of a common sport, and their common interests and feeling of community is what keeps them together - and it keeps them skiing together for years and years. If you are a skier, you should definitely consider joining a club. It doesn’t matter - in most cases - what level you are at. Beginners are usually welcomed, and this is a great way for beginners to quickly improve their skills and techniques out on the slopes.

Aluminum Fishing Boats: From Compact Jon Boat to Custom Design!

November 19th, 2007

Looking around on the web for an aluminum fishing boat? You’ll
soon enough find out there are a number of different ways to go,
depending on your needs and budget…

Are you looking for something very straightforward and
uncomplicated you can quickly fit on your pickup? Or maybe you
want something more sophisticated you can use for both
tournament fishing and recreational fishing?

Another option - if money isn’t your biggest concern - could be
to look into a custom built boat with everything just the way
you want!

You will probably know why you’re looking for an aluminum
fishing boat as opposed to a fiberglass or steel boat, but
lightness (greater performance or fuel savings) and strength
(around 35,000 pounds per square inch (psi) will deform it as
opposed to 30,000 psi for mild steel) are probably the greatest
advantages.

Price also comes into play as many an aluminum fishing boat
owner have reported looking around for similar fiberglass boats
and being put off by the prices.

In addition it is not only the purchase price, but also the
maintenance costs afterwards which one need to take into account.

Aluminum is practically maintenance-free. If left unpainted
aluminum will form a supertight layer of aluminum oxide on its
surface and then will stay that way indefinitely.

What else is great about owning an aluminum fishing boat?
Aluminum is fireproof and non-toxic; it is natural, and the most
abundant metal in the earth’s crust. It is easily repairable,
and a great advantage for boats: aluminum won’t absorb water!

What about price? Well, you can start looking at something that
was designed to fit right into small pickup truck beds like a
Meyers Explorer 12 Jon Boat. This one goes for only a few
hundred dollars!

Then you can move up to something much more advanced like the
Tracker Pro Angler V-16. The Tracker features large lockable rod
storage that holds up to 7′6″ rods, divided aerated livewell
with Flow-Rite aeration, a deluxe console with a simulated
burlwood switch panel and more.

On the Tracker there’s always plenty of room for tackle, people
and gear. Even an amateur would know that this was a great
aluminum fishing boat after only one ride!

Then there’s the Ranger Cherokee 217, which is known for an
extremely wide front casting deck. It also features an
extension-deck option to make it even bigger. (Note:
Unfortunately Ranger stopped making them, but if you can find
one, rest assured it’s a solid boat. Crestliner’s boats can now
offer a similar quality in a bass boat).

You may also want to look at unique boats like those of Design
Concepts. Their aluminum fishing boats are crafted with a
revolutionary hull configuration called Drop-Keel. Instead of
being flat on the bottom like other boats, Design Concepts boats
are engineered to drop just below the water line before turning
upward at the bow. This feature keeps the cutting edge of your
boat in the water at all times.

Design Concepts also offer a “true lifetime warranty”: even if
you sell your boat, the warranty stays with it, ensuring you the
highest value retention of any boat you can buy.

How about a custom-built aluminum fishing boat? As an example,
King Salmon Marine lets you choose many details like the
position of the console, overall length and hight, bottom width
and thickness - even the type of aluminum alloy!

Campground Savvy

October 3rd, 2007

Part of planning a trip in our RV is planning which KOA campgrounds we will be staying at along the way. We know what to expect at a KOA campground and we have never been disappointed. If you have been RVing for any amount of time you already know that a big part of the camping experience is the campground experience. This month I am including a checklist that will help you get the most from your campground experience. Most of what is written in this checklist is common sense, but it helps to serve as a reminder of how to make your next stay at a KOA as pleasant and carefree as possible.

If you know where you’ll be staying make campground reservations in advance, particularly during the prime travel season. This way there is always a site waiting for you when you arrive.

You should stop traveling while there is still plenty of daylight to set up and get settled in at the campground.

Make sure the electrical source is compatible with your RV’s electrical system.

Make sure the site will accommodate the length of your RV.

If temperatures are hot outside, request a site that is in the shade, if possible. Try to position the RV, with the side the refrigerator is located on, in the shade to help the refrigerator work more efficiently.

Check the site for any overhead obstacles that might interfere with setting up the RV.

When you position the unit at the site make sure there is enough clearance for slide-outs and the patio awning.

Level the RV and chock the wheels before disconnecting from the tow vehicle (for towable RVs).

Test the polarity and voltage before plugging the RV into any electrical source. After you test the polarity and voltage turn the breaker off, plug the RV in, and turn the breaker back on.

Campground voltage can fluctuate depending on the demand. You should monitor the AC voltage coming into your RV, with a digital voltmeter, throughout your stay at the campground. Plug the meter into any 120-volt outlet in the RV where it will be easy to monitor the AC voltage during your camping trip. By monitoring the AC voltage you can protect thousands of dollars worth of electrical equipment and appliances in your RV. If AC voltage drops below 105-volts or goes above 130-volts you should turn electronic equipment and appliances off until the power is restored. Some digital meters have an audible alarm to warn you of high or low voltage conditions.

Keep a variety of electrical adapters on hand in case you need them. You should also have an extension cord that is compatible with the electrical system on your RV. The gauges of wire used in standard household type extension cords are not suitable for RV hook ups.

Use a water pressure regulator at the campground water source to prevent damage to your plumbing from high water pressure.

Use a white RV drinking hose to connect from the water source to the RV. Hoses not labeled safe for drinking can contribute to lead and other dangerous chemicals getting in the water. It’s a good idea to have a 4-foot, 10-foot and 25-foot hose so you can always reach the campground water hook up.

You should always filter the water going into the RV with a high quality filtration system. The 4-foot or 10-foot drinking hose can be used to go from a water filter to the city water connector on the RV.

Take along a green or black garden hose for all other uses, like flushing out holding tanks or cleaning the RV.

It’s a good idea to have a 10-foot and a 20-foot sewer hose available so you can always reach the campground sewer connection. Spend a little extra and get heavy-duty sewer hoses. Keep an assortment of sewer hose adapters and connectors on hand.

If you’re going to be leaving the campground for more than few minutes it’s a good idea to turn the water supply off until you return.

Always store the awning when you’re not going to be at the campsite and leave it in the stored position at night.

Lock your RV and secure valuables when you are not physically at the campsite.

Always keep a spare set of keys for the RV and any other vehicles.

Always practice good campground etiquette and be sure to leave the campsite in the same condition you found it, or better.

If you travel with pets, respect other campers as it pertains to your pets. Always use a leash, control any barking and always clean up after your pets.
Hopefully this will help make all of your campground experiences happy memories rather than memories you would like to forget. For checklists like this and many more, be sure to get a copy of my Checklists for RVers E-book. Have a great time camping at your favorite KOA campground.

Happy Camping!
